Crowdfunder for a new Workshop

As of April 2026, M1ECC Antennas is currently seeking to raise funds for a new workshop through product sales rather than external grants or traditional business loans. The business is in a transition period after being forced to vacate its previous premises due to the land being sold for housing development.

Current Funding Strategy

Owner David (M1ECC) has outlined a "sales-led" recovery plan to secure a new location:

Inventory Reinvestment: The primary method for raising capital is by selling existing stock and reinvesting "heavily from sales" to afford the rent on a new workshop.
Limited Production: To maintain cash flow without full workshop facilities, the business is focusing on products that do not require heavy machinery or lathes, such as coils, wire antennas, baluns, ununs, and line isolators.

Background on the Move
- Eviction Notice: The business was required to move out by the end of April 2026 as the workshop land was sold for the construction of houses.
- Financial Constraints: Recent low sales volumes initially made the rent for a new workshop unaffordable, leading to a temporary announcement of closure in late March 2026.
- Recovery Status: Recent updates indicate "positive developments" that allow for limited-capacity operations until enough funds are raised to secure a permanent new home.
