Does the job
Purchased because I needed a portable rapid setup antenna, reviews are positive and made in the UK. Only used it once while on holiday as unfortunately weather hasn t been great and it seems to work well for this type of antenna. I can t report too much more as I need to get used to it and use it more. Initial reaction is 5 out of 5 well made and works!

Perfect portable multiband antenna
Hi M1ECC. Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent service re my recent order. Ordered online Friday delivered Saturday! Straight out of the bag with a quick play in the garden from my qth and had a contact into Greece on 12m. Then the following morning, portable, a qso on 20m with Queensland Australia from one of my local hills here in west Wales, along with numerous European and Uk contacts on 20m and 40m over the weekend. All contacts running 10 watts SSB and using simple quick adjustment of the Slidewinder with the G90 vswr inbuilt meter. Slidewinder has solved my portable setup issues with the type of terrain I have access to locally. Looking forward to a summer of activity with this versatile antenna. Over the coming weeks I hope to use my nanovna to experiment with radial numbers etc. for the type of ground I most frequent. It's been great to have had the option to buy radio gear manufactured in Britain for a change and the product and service has been reassuringly top notch. Regards de MW7ABS

Fantastic Antenna Kit
Got back into the radio scene after around 4 years out due to health, lost all what was going on in the world with equipment, purchased a 991A and needed a antenna to match with it, took me a few weeks to decide then I found M1ECC Slidewinder, I won t lie it looked on the more expensive side but I did some research especially Tim G5TM and I bit the bullet and ordered it, delivered next day and extremely well packaged, got it all connected up and straight away instant match for the radio using the slider for 20m, straight into Austria 59 Highly recommended antenna kit

Slidewinder DX post sale review
Absoloutely delighted with this antenna system. I've been searching for an antenna like this for a long time. Running 10 watts USB on 20 metres my SWR was 1 to 1.2 across the whole band. (8 radials) Build quality , delivery and customer service second to none. Shaun G0IDS/qrp.

Brilliant Antenna
I've been searching for an easy to deploy multi band antenna to use with a HF radio that needs to be used, as up until now I've only dabbled on VHF/UHF/DMR etc. This Antenna kit just works, I was up and running within minutes, no problems. I'm so pleased with the kit, I've ordered an additional antenna and sidewinder coil and plan to have a 2nd antenna permanently installed at my QTH. The advantage being it will be a stealth antenna and stop questions from the neighbours! I would recommend this antenna. 73.

Wow!!! Great Kit!! Didnt Expect That To Happen!!!
10 stars out of 5!!!! I received my order yesterday and very impressed with both the service and the antenna (Windslider DX Ground spike kit). Obviously the first thing I did was to get it set up which literally took a few minuites and play. Within minutes, contact to the south of France with a 59 report on 10w from my garden!!! Did not expect that from this little wonder!!!! The whole kit is well constructed and slides together just as you'd expect from more expensive alternatives, even the 3d printed parts are spot on! Not sure which plastic has been used but its strong!! I had bought this kit on the recomadation of another operator, and toyed with the idea for a while. After going out and spending 10 - 15mins just put up a mast and the EFHW for an hour of playtime, just didnt seem worth it. This thing though..... it's light enough to sneak into your bag alongside the radio and a battery, that the missus will never know!!! Beach days have just got a lot more interesting! Thank you for not only the products you sell, but all of the time and effort you have put into them to make them just right. Love this setup! Buy it! You'll love it too!!! 73s Thank me later!

I haven't tried my antenna yet, but I am confident and have faith in this product, especially because of the customer service that stands behind this product. The communication is immediate, and with a lot of kindness and professionalism. I would give it 10 stars if I could do it. I especially thank David for his attention and help. Just purchased and take delivery of my M1ECC DX Slidewinder kit firstly the service this company provides is excellent fast communication and fast special delivery of your item. The packaging is fantastic well protected the Antenna kit, well what can I say other than you get top quality kit this is superb well manufactured goes together with no faffing around you'll be on the air in minutes I am very pleased with the antenna it is worth every penny it costs,and far superior to some of the others out there for the price. Now I have one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying one it's excellent

Nothing to compare with
Im not an operator, just a sdr listener. I had most of my bands of interest nailed down antenna wise but had nothing for HF. After bootlegging on 11-1/2 M in the 80's, I had some idea of what I wanted for an antenna, but nothing on Amazon looked right. I saw a you tube on this antenna kit and jumped on it. I added myself to the wait list and was notified about two weeks later and bought that day. It took about a week to arrive in the USA and I couldn't be happier. This thing is definitely tunable, must have great resonance because I'm picking up very weak signals from the western US from as far east (almost) as you can go. I bought for a sort of prepper type usage, but have been using it at home, at sea level with the ground radials spread on my 35 deg. sloping lawn with 200' plus hills within 1/4 mile of me. This thing, hitched to my upcoming caribou lite and a PI4 in a SHTF situation, or for testing and playing around with will be incredible. Thank you and your team for a great product. Assembly is tough and secure. Parts are seemingly of quality, time will tell... Shipping and packaging were above par and I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in HF comms, or SDR HF listening.

Excellent service, a quality product, at a good price. From initial contact through to prompt delivery, I cannot fault this company. Items have a quality feel, and although not used yet, I have no doubt at all - from recent reviews, the antenna will work as described. 5 all the way - will use again.
