Mounting Configuration: on right angle antenna mount is 3/8-24 Thread to so239 for coax connection to the mount.
Designed for use with all 3/8 24 tpi, Antennas fittings & Mounts.
Screws easily on to all Antennas & mountings by hand no spanners required.
When used portable in the field or fixed-station, Use the ground radials kit
that comes supplied with 4 x 4.5m radials, If you wish to add more radials it will only help to improve antenna performance & VSWR further.
The Slidewinder Tripod comes with pegs to secure down tripod legs, Preventing the tripod getting blown over in the wind,
The 3/8 24 tpi Right angle Antenna mount enables the mounting of your (NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT) Slidewinder DX Coil & the Lightweight Military Radio Antenna , The 2 wing nut terminals on the antenna mount bracket allow for connecting your ground radials 4 are supplied with this kit & wound on a spool for easy storage.
The whole upgrade kit packs away into a strong Waterproof Carry bag.
